Geetika, a PhD fellow at IIIT-D, is currently engaged in exploring the theoretical aspects of Proximal Federated Learning. She earned her M.Sc. in Mathematics with Computer Science, receiving a gold medal from Jamia Millia Islamia and completed her graduation with a B.Sc. in Mathematics (Hons.) from Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. During her master’s program, she gained research experience in fixed-point theory, specifically focusing on the convergence analysis of fixed-point algorithms. Her research interests encompass Mathematical Optimization, Convergence Analysis, and Federated Learning.
